Cont. from H.11 review and approve contractor payments; assist in managing project consultant agreements and project budgets; assist the Project Manager in establishing task schedule and manpower requirements consistent with the project agreement; review and prepare certificates of substantial completion, occupancy, and final completion, including punch lists, and record drawings; conduct postoccupancy review of clients use of space and site and review of clients use of space.br br Requires Bachelor of Architecture 5 year or foreign equivalent plus coursework, internships or experience to include analyzing client needs and utilizing independent thinking to develop programmatic approaches and design concepts in andor coordinating all phases Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding, and Construction Administration of architectural design for a wide range of projects including domestic and international mixed use development, large scale 250,000 sq ft corporatecommercial projects, retail, entertainment, high rise residential, cultural, museum, institutional and education projects; researching domestic and international building codes IBC and regulations, collecting data, and writing reports and presentations to incorporate research and data into architectural designs; preparing and incorporating weather data analysis to identify passive design potential based on the local climate and occupation to minimize building energy needs and maximize the energy savings, using DIVA and Ecotect; incorporating LEED sustainable design principles and preparing LEED documentation; conducting site reconnaissance, site investigations, and onsite charettes, using GIS; interpreting traffic impact analysis and management plans and analyzing as built plans, photographs, notes, and other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawings to solve technical issues of design in relation to sites and buildings; producing design documents, presentations, and construction documents including sketches, working drawings, architectural plans, elevations and detail specifications, using 2D3D CAD and building information modeling BIM software, including Revit, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, 3D Studio MAXVIZ, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and InDesign; evaluating and managing general contractor bids, estimates, and contract budgets, coordinate with project architects, project managers, clients, consultants, and contractors to respond to requests for information RFIs, clarifications, and modifications; maintaining log of all RFIs and Submittals including date received, date returned and status of unreturned requests; participating in meetings with domestic and international clients, consultants, contractors, and public agencies on a given project and coordinate for client and agency review and approval; coordinating with civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection MEPFP, lighting, landscape, code, traffic, parking, kitchen, zoning, signage, acoustic, security, curtain wall, faade maintenance, special systems, geotechnical, vertical transportation, and structural consultants to incorporate engineering systems into unified design; performing necessary modifications of drawings and specifications as construction projects progress and changes in dimensions, materials, and other aspects of design arise from client, agency or public input, prepare change order and construction change directives; conducting construction administration via site visits and issuance of field reports, and detailed review of subcontractors shop drawings, submittalscut sheets on materials equipment, review of structural construction for architectural coordination, HVAC system layout and installation, installation of lighting fixtures, and installation of electrical equipment; Cont. in K.
