Sailthru, Inc. specializes in highperformance email, website personalization, and mobile marketing automation platforms. This position is not entrylevel but is integral to the success of our operations. In order to keep current on cutting edge technologies for potential applications to our products, she must have advance knowledge inwith the following Algorithms and Data Structures; Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing; Web Programming and TestDriven Development; Multithreading and Parallel Programming; Memory Management and Process Synchronization; and Networking Technology and SystemLevel Architecture. She must have advance knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures to develop software on both frontend user interface and backend server, application, and database for our products and to confer with all levels of our team of Engineers to design and develop key architectural features. She must use advanced knowledge of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to develop complex filtering capabilities for reporting pages to improve the UX User Experience, reach a wider audience, and increase sales. She must apply advanced knowledge of Networking Technology and SystemLevel Architecture to build a new next generation email personal, responsive, and up to snuff on the latest provider standards like Googles promotions tab content and suggested unsubscribe features, as well as AMP Accelerated Mobile Pages for email summary page. She must use advanced knowledge in Web Programming and TestDriven Development to enhance UI User Interface for our automated workflow tools for better user experience, and to collaborate with product managers to clarify and enhance feature requirement. She must have advanced knowledge of Memory Management and Process Synchronization to create ETL Extract, Load, Transform jobs to build custom adhoc reporting for customers to process a data pipeline used to replicate data from a source system into a target system such as a cloud data warehouse. She must also apply indepth knowledge of Multithreading and Parallel Programming to develop web applications with Java and PHP Hypertext Preprocessor and to build complex scalability features and contribute to product roadmapping. Without an advanced, theoretical background gained through at least a Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related, the applicant would not possess the advanced knowledge gained from academic coursework, research project, teaching assistantship, or practical training through internship or coop required for the role. The educational and advanced knowledge requirements bear a reasonable relationship to the occupation in the context of our business and are essential to perform the job in a reasonable manner. As our business involves complex features for our software application that is on the cutting edge of the industry, a lower degree e.g. a Bachelors degree or Associates degree in the same field does not provide the theoretical and advanced knowledge required to be able to contribute to our unique and industryshaping technologies. Likewise, experience instead of an advanced degree would not provide the level of theoretical and advanced knowledge required for this position.
