Bachelors degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field, and 5 years of progressively responsible postBachelors degree related industry experience required.br br The position also requiresbr br 5 years of Field Service and Commissioning experience with Power Conversion product drives MV3000, MV6000, MV7000, LV8000, SD7000, Exciter ESP1 and Quad and associated electrical equipment such as Motor Control Center, Switchgear, Cooling system, transformers, Motors and filters.br br 5 years experience with Rectifier and Inverter operation, both practical and theoretical.br br 5 years experience with motor vector control principles for various application such as Metals, Gas compressor, Energy transfer and Marine propulsion application.br br 3 years experience with logic programming and PLC configuration.br br 5 years experience with installation and commissioning tasks and services.br br Up to 85 travel required to various customer sites within the US and in international locations such as Canada, Mexico, Latin America, Europe and Asia for installation and commissioning activities, maintenance, troubleshooting and emergency onsite support.br br Telecommuting permitted position. Must live near a major international airport.br br GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
