Cont. from H.11 assist in identifying weekly project requirements and projecting long term needs; conduct site visits and progress meetings, to observe construction progress and prepare field observation reports, final inspections, and project closeout, including punch lists for all appropriate design disciplines and record drawings; review and prepare certificates of substantial completion, occupancy, and final completion; conduct postoccupancy evaluation and review of clients use of space.br br Requires Bachelor of Architecture 5 year or foreign equivalent plus NCARB Certificate and 5 years of experience to include participating in all phases of domestic and international large scale 250,000sq ft corporatecommercial, cultural, civic and education projects, including new construction, renovation, expansion, tenant improvement, demolitionsite preparation and competitions requiring expedited concept development and document production; leading a project team in all phases of design and documentation including preparing feasibility studies, design guidelines, concept plans, development plans, entitlement plans, and solarwind analysis; analyzing sketches, photographs, notes, and site survey of existing conditions other input material to determine best approaches for client needs and to solve technical issues of design in relation to sites and buildings; developing and producing 2D3D hand drawn renderings for design development; preparing presentation sketches, drawings, and image board presentations, architectural detail specifications, and highly detailed 3D virtual models for concept design presentations and presentation packages using 2D3D CAD Architectural Desktop, SketchUp, PhotoShop, and Illustrator and building information modeling BIM software Revit, space planning, editing layouts for concept design, design development, and construction drawings, incorporating LEED accredited sustainable design principles and building systems into architectural designs and prepare LEED documentation; coordinating with and assist the firm to obtain approvals from clients and regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over projects; providing research, planning, and design solutions, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, area and efficiency analysis, building codes and regulations for international and domestic projects, and building materials; estimating quantities and costs of building materials, researching domestic and international code compliance for projects; applying architectural principles to review all related shop drawings, samples and mock ups, evaluate general contractor bids and project budgets and coordinate construction budgets with clients and contractors; preparing Technical Meeting Minutes for timely issuance and BulletinsAddenda, incorporating revision from other disciplines; developing interface details to ensure that the design and technical intent is met; coordinating with local architects, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection MEPFP, civil, structural, food service, hardware, acoustic, vibration, elevator, lighting, signage, and low voltagetelecommunications consultants to incorporate engineering systems in the preparation of construction documents; coordinating all parts of the building and resolve conflicts between architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing; reviewing bulletins and change orders as needed; coordinating distribution of all project documentation, information and communication and managing project data and transmission and all electronic communications using Newforma, Deltek or other approved software for all phases of the project;Cont. in K.
