Masters degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related plus 2 years of experience in structural engineering analysis and design in concrete, masonry, and steel building design, or related. Experience must include beam, column, moment frame, and shear wall design; foundation analysis and design, including spread footing, wall footing, mat foundation, and deep pile design; design experience with building alterations and new building in a dense, urban environment; with SOE and foundation design; designing temporary bracing systems during the construction phase; project management; construction administration; and AutoCAD drafting. Demonstrated knowledge of NYC building code and NYCT requirements for protection of structures; Ram and Revit; proficiency in Etabs, Safe, and Risa structural software used for modeling. Any suitable combination of experience of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
