Bachelors degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related plus 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, or related. Two years of experience must include geotechnical analysis, seismic analysis and design, and building foundation design; in support of excavation design and design of buildings shallow and deep foundations; in creating soil boring logs, including soil and rock classification; in evaluating subsurface conditions and boring logs; in preparing geotechnical engineering reports, and in preparation of boring logs and subsurface profiles for public and private agency submission; and in conducting field inspections during soil boring, pile drilling, and driving operation. Demonstrated knowledge of the following software AutoCAD, Deepex, LiquefyPro, and PLAXIS. Any suitable combination of experience of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
