In lieu, will accept a Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a closelyrelated quantitative discipline and 3 years of postgraduate experience as a Quantitative Researcher, Data Scientist or closelyrelated position.br br Experience, which may have been gained concurrently, must include 1 year of experience with the followingbr Quantitative investment research or econometric modeling;br Econometrics, optimization, and simulationbased analysis;br Working with large data sets programming with Python and at least one of the following Java, or R; andbr Applying statistics and machine learning techniques to realworld datasets in the financialinvestment field.br br Qualified candidates for consideration will be expected to possess advanced knowledge and understanding across the following areasbr mathematical models that quantify and explain financial markets using factor analysisbr modern financial models that use quantitative methods to construct optimized and most efficient portfoliosbr attribution models that help to explain the return and risk profile of each portfoliobr statistical models used for financial data estimation, including volatility, correlationcovariance of multiple financial time series and for understanding the interaction of individual stocks within a balanced portfolio and how to attribute the return and risk of the overall portfoliobr probabilistic simulation Monte Carlo of various statistical models in order to estimate potential risk of financial portfoliosbr br This position requires strong communication skills, analytical and multitasking ability, and attention to detail. A qualified candidate must be able to work independently and conceptualize abstractly articulated goals into quantitatively provable objectives for selfguided execution.
