Prior experience must include two 2 years with executing debt and equity financing transactions, and public and private mergers and acquisitions buyside and sellside transactions in excess of 1 billion in the insurance space for U.S. and international corporate clients; utilizing Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel, including detailed logic and finance formulas, data tables, filters, and pivot tables, to reference and analyze hundreds of rows of data and facilitate financial modeling; constructing and reviewing financial models including operating models, merger analysis, discounted cash flow and leveraged buyout valuations and models, and capital impact and purchase accounting impact analysis models; working with other investment banking professionals to provide financial advice to companies the insurance space, on MA transactions, capital raising, and other bespoke financial transactions and advisory mandates for example, fairness opinions; learning and applying U.S. GAAP, U.S. insurance statutory, and international e.g. IFRS accounting standards and concepts, including U.S. and international regulatory capital requirements for financial institutions; presenting to senior client executives including the CEO and CFO on mergers acquisitions, corporate strategy and financing alternatives, in particular in the insurance space; mentoring and managing the work of junior team members, while coordinating closely with internal and external senior team and executives, in advising financial institutions companies and executing transactions; and performing detailed modeling on the capital position of insurance companies.br br Travel Requirement Approximately less than 15 of the time for client meetings.
