Cable One, Inc. Cable One dba Sparklight, owns and operates cable systems that provide data, video, and voice services to residential and commercial customers in the United States. This position is not entrylevel; it is an integral part of growing and maintaining our operations. In order to work closely with leadsupervisor and other team members to deliver quality QA Quality Assurance artifacts on time, she must be skilled inwith SDLC; Agile methodologies and Testdriven development; Test planTest case development and execution, and automation frameworks for CICD process. She must also be knowledgeable about quality assurance testing methodologies, including functional, system, and regression testing with involvement in interface, integration and UAT; and Test and Project management tools like Azure Dev Ops test management, HP ALM, and JIRA. To perform analysis and design of Test Case Development and Test Execution and to develop and execute smoke test cases to support production deployments, she must be skilled in SDLC. She must also use this skill to develop and execute complex regression tests to ensure that updates or new software features do not affect existing features and functionality. To manage user stories, test cases, test execution, defects, and resolutions in Microsoft Azure DevOps and to document defects and collaborate with the development team on managing test results and feedback to developers, she must be skilled with Agile methodologies and Testdriven development. She must further use this skill to develop functional and technical test cases for various types of interfaces including SOAP, Command Line, Database level procedures inclusive of complex data validation. She must be skilled with Automation frameworks for CICD process in order to develop and maintain the automated UI User Interface and Webservice test cases. Finally, she must be skilled in quality assurance testing methodologies including functional, system, and regression testing with involvement in interface, integration and UAT to analyze project requests to estimate time and cost required to accomplish the project. Without a theoretical background gained through at least a Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering, or related, and at least 60 months of experience in Software Quality Assurance, the applicant would not have the required handson, realworld experience and knowledge in software quality assurance testing and the development of automated testing plans that are crucial to our business and required for the role. Each required skill directly relates to the duties to be performed. The applications and systems used to perform the job are extremely complex and integral to the wellbeing of Cable One.
