Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus one year of accounting and auditing experience in the FinTech industry. Experience must include one year of performing audits for both private and public clients in the FinTech industry; designing and performing substantive testing procedures on complex areas of clients balance sheets and income statements; performing audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles US GAAP under both Generally Accepted Auditing Standards GAAS and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board PCAOB standards; utilizing audit software in analyzing data for risk assessment and auditing sampling; working with complex areas of clients balance sheets and income statements on technical matters, including ASC 606 revenue recognition implementation, debt modification vs. extinguishment, stock based compensation, capitalized software, warrants equity vs. liabilities, and equity for companies; performing internal control testing in accordance with PCAOB AS 2201 and SOX 404 in an integrated audit, evaluating control design and implementation, evaluating control address risk of material misstatements and impacts risk assessments, and working with clients to determine the effectiveness of control designs and provide feedback for improvement; interacting with accounting and auditing specialists within complex accounting areas, including valuation, tax, and information technology specialists; utilizing advanced Excel tools, including Pivot Tables, VLookup, and monetaryunit sampling MUS, and data analytics tools, including ACL and Box and Whisker Plots; working with clients on remediation of PCAOB inspection; and interacting directly with senior management of the audit team and audit clients to discuss auditing findings, issues, and resolution. Must possess U.S. CPA license or passage of all four parts of U.S. CPA examination. Less than 10 travel outside of normal commuting distance.
