Using molecular and cell biology methods, including in vitro transcription of RNA, RNA splicing isoform analysis reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction RTPCR and quantitative reverse transcription PCR RTqPCR of cells and tissues, RNAFISH fluorescent in situ hybridization targeting ribonucleic acid molecules of cells and tissues, and genotyping of tissues.br 3. Conducting RNAsequencing library preparation and analysis, in vitro and cellbased high throughput screening, and target vector design.br 4. Utilizing and programming laboratory equipment for robotic workflows.br 5. Measuring RNA binding with small molecules via fluorescence, BioLayer Interferometry, Isothermal Titration Calorimetry, and Microscale Thermophoresis.br 6. Handling mice in accordance with all applicable safety rules and regulations.br 7. Administering test articles by the following routes SC subcutaneous, IP intraperitoneal, IM intramuscular, IV intravenous and oral gavage.br 8. Supporting Structural Biology efforts by in vitro translation and purification of RNA, preparation of samples for NMR Nuclear Magnetic Resonance analysis and quality control analysis of NMR data.br 9. Using the following lab equipment microplate reader, nanodrop, fragment analyzer for automated electrophoresis, realtime polymerase chain reaction instrument, gel imager, Kingfisher flex, NMR, automated fluorescent microscope, automated cell counter, UV Vis spectrophotometer, Gel Electrophoresis, automated robotics and liquid handling for high throughput screening.br 10. Using the following software PowerPoint, Excel, Graphpad Prism, Prosize, ChemDraw, DataWarrior, ImageJ, LabArhives, Venus and TopSpin.br 11. Using bioinformatics software, including STAR, DEseq, Kallisto, and Sleuth and programming languages, including Python, R, HTML, and Java.
