Specific Skills
Bachelors degree in Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering plus five years of progressive engineering experience in aircraft electrical design, electrical installation design, and engineering specification and interpretation of technical requirements.br br BUSINESS NECESSITY In order to successfully perform these very challenging job duties we require a Bachelors degree in Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering plus five years of progressive engineering experience in aircraft electrical design, electrical installation design, and engineering specification and interpretation of technical requirements. Workers without at least a baccalaureate level education in Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering would not have the theoretical or academic background to understand the design, development and manufacture of complex and sophisticated aircraft control systems at a professional level applying broad principles, without templates, to manufacture novel designs and solve advanced engineering and technical issues at a senior level. This requires the use of engineering theory and principles normally taught only at the baccalaureate level for Electromechanical and Mechanical Engineering majors. Five years of professional work experience is required to provide the practical experience and problemsolving abilities necessary to successfully lead the launch of new methodologies and coordinate all aspects of production, including maintaining quality control standards and recommending changes to design and methods, as well as providing high level technical expertise, supervise other engineers and explain and recommend to executives the most important aspects of sophisticated aircraft control systems from a technical engineering perspective to manufacture aircraft components to meet functional requirements and quality standards. This experience is absolutely required as a business necessity.br br NOT REASONABLE TO TRAINbr There is no one at the company able to train professionallevel engineers to successfully accomplish these job duties. On the contrary, we hired him because of his education and work experience, currently lacking at the company, to accomplish challenging manufacturing engineering job duties at as senior level without further training. It is unreasonable to require the applicant to train or send workers out for training equivalent to a fouryear baccalaureate degree as a substitute for the competency of an experienced professional senior level engineer who has worked in the aircraft industry.
