Experience must include evaluation of advanced controlled release formulations for proteins and oligonucleotides, such as drug conjugates, micronanoparticles, hydrogels, polymers, liposomes, devices, mucoadhesive drug and delivery systems; developing, characterizing, and manufacturing controlled release formulations for ocular drug delivery; eye anatomy and ocular tissues; synthesis, purification and characterization of proteins and oligonucleotides; advanced biochemistry principles, degradation pathways for proteins, proteinpeptide structural determination and characterization and evaluation of protein stability and degradation; synthetic and polymer chemistry and their biodegradation mechanisms; HPLCUPLC, UVVis, fluorescence, chromatography, electrophoresis cIEF, MCESDS, SDSPAGE, NMR, TEM, FTIR, DLS SLS and imagingmicroscopy techniques MFI, SEM, Raman spectroscopy and Rheometer; analytical method development; principles of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Immunology with handson experience in evaluation of drug delivery systems in relevant animal models; statistical approaches and software packages for data analysis and design of experiments DOE for analytical method development andor formulation development; scientific writing abstracts, publications or presentations at conferences.
