ANY SUITABLE COMBINATION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE. Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field followed by 7 years of progressive experience in software development and with dynamic web app development using HTML, JS and CSS. In lieu of a bachelors degree and 7 years of experience, employer will accept a Masters degree in the above fields and 5 years of experience in the above skill sets. Experience therein to include 5 years with Django, Ruby on Rails or equivalent Serverside Web App framework; 3 years with the following building and optimizing Single Page Rich Web Apps; Web and Native App Performance Instrumentation and Optimization; Git or equivalent distributed source and version control system; Javascript MVC framework e.g. BackboneJS, ReactJS; visualization libraries for building data charts and dashboards e.g. D3.js, Highcharts and Highmaps; open source webRTC protocol for building realtime audio video meetings in browsers and apps; deploying code to Production environments via Amazon S3 Akamai toolchain or equivalent; and shipping applications on one of the following Electron, NW.js, or PWA. Also requires 2 years of experience with developing against SQL databases; 1 year with the following working with NodeJs, serverside scripting language; browser extensions and plugins; Javascript state management library e.g. Redux or MobX; JS build tools e.g. Grunt, Webpack, Gulp for compilation, minification, and linting; creating and managing dependencies via a dependency or package management framework e.g. NPM, Ruby Gems. Also requires familiarity with Linux based software development and system administration.
