Specific Skills

Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in medical device software development. In lieu of a Bachelors degree in stated field, will accept 2 additional years of experience in the job offered or in medical device software development. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following programming with C or C using Active Template Library ATL, Qt and .NET frameworks; working in Linux, Windows or similar mature operating system on kernel and application levels; working in VxWorks, ThreadX or other realtime operation system; working on software architecture, multithreaded programming, networking, enterprise development or database development; embedded hardware platforms including SOC, FPGA, ARM and x86; utilizing software development methodologies including Agile or Scrum as well as software development standards including CMMI or ISO 9001; quality management systems for medical equipment based on IEC 62304 and ISO 13485 medical device software standards; and, technical project management including coordinating work for multicultural remote teams. Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training andor experience which would qualify an applicant for this position.
