This position requires a PhD degree or equivalent in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or a related field and three 3 years of related experience. In the alternate, employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry and five 5 years of related experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 Evaluating, implementing, and monitoring quick turnaround processes and operating systems for product manufacturing by participation in crossfunctional project team to address safety, process safety and other regulatory requirements. 2 Converting smallscale processes into commercially viable largescale operations with maximize quality, capacity and efficiency outcomes during the scaleup of new formulated products to commercial manufacture. 3 Conducting trials using engineering design and execution, laboratory management, compliance monitoring, and careful research documentation. Employer will accept experience gained before, during, or after Masters degree program. All experience may be gained concurrently. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test before beginning employment.
