Eighteen months of experience must include analyzing clients regulatory and compliance requirements to recommend effective controls that address such requirements; working with Security Information and Event Management SIEM technologies and processes, including use casesrule sets, standard configurations and security operations; gathering business requirements and translating them into systems requirements; conducting cyber simulation exercises to evaluate clients response readiness by simulating cyberattacks, including Web App attacks with account harvesting, SQL injection, CrossSite Scripting, ransomware, data exfiltration, insider threat, social engineeringphishing, and thirdparty compromise scenarios; conducting walkthroughs and interviews with business, technology, and security stakeholders to assess security infrastructure and identify areas for improvement; assessing clients cyber incident readiness by reviewing existing controls against industry frameworks, including NIST and ISO; performing digital forensics and cyber incident recovery investigations utilizing specialized tools for PCAP analysis e.g., Wireshark, event correlation and analysis e.g., Splunk, volatile data analysis e.g., Volatility, REMnux, digital forensics e.g., SIFT, Encase, Forensic Toolkit FTK, Xways, Autopsy, and PhysicalLogical Analyzer, and incident response e.g., PowerShell, Kali Linux; utilizing office productivity and visualization tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Visio, Power BI, and Tableau; recommending effective security measures to defend against network, overflow, and password attacks; and identifying and preserving data and documents in accordance with industry standard digital evidence chain of custody COC guidelines. Position requires 75 travel.
