Artificial intelligence, machine learning algorithms, data sciencestatisticsbr a. Evaluating tradeoffs and being able to pick the right model for a given task;br b. Understand machine learning model optimization and tune model parameters to reduce model size and improve accuracy;br c. Supervised machine learning algorithms including linear regression, logistic regression, random forest, and boosting to explain the statistical relationship between independent variables and predict dependent variables;br d. Unsupervised machine learning algorithms including kmeans clustering and hierarchical clustering to determine different clusters and similarity within the cluster; andbr e. Experience using statistical analysis to validate model results and refine data inputsbr 2. Familiarity with distributed systems and parallel processing algorithms, memory management, multiple processor use, and runtime optimization, with multiprocessing parallel and distributed paradigms such as MPI, pthreads, Cuda, etc.; andbr 3. Relational database management systems; using database queries to handle large datasets, knowledge in advanced topics including indexing for improved performance, distributed databases, and data warehouses.
