Position requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field of study, plus five 5 years of semiconductor foundry experience in the job offered, or as a Process Engineer, Product and Yield Engineer, or in a closely related engineering role. Alternately the employer will accept a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field of study, plus four 4 years of related semiconductor foundry experience. Will also accept a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field of study, plus two 2 years of related semiconductor foundry experience. The position also requires experience with unit processes, crossmodule interactions and their effects on electrical parameters. Comprehensive knowledge of all 14nm finfet FEOL integrated process modules including FIN formation, gate stack module including gate dielectric and gate electrode materials and processes, ION implantation and implant masking processes, junction and sourcedrain engineering, mobility engineering techniques, spacer formation and silicide module. Experience in transferring, implementing, ramping and sustaining process technologies with a focus on targeting and customization, process simplification and optimization for yield improvement and cost reduction for a customerspecific producttechnology. Knowledge of solid state device physics, submicron FET architectures and the implications of device characteristics and performance on technology and product behavior. Knowledge of design, execution and analysis of experiments. Demonstrated ability to work well within a global matrixed team or environment.
