Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Must have 12 years of experience in job offered or related position. Must have 12 years of experience with the following Reviewing customer requirements and generating product specifications; performing teardowns and benchmarking competitor samples and specifications; experience with product design using cad, including solidworks; building and validating prototypes and proof of concepts; experience with analytical and empirical data analysis, including FEA and thermal simulation; transitioning designs to manufacturing; project management experience for large projects with multiple matrix partners focusing on critical path; leading process improvement, especially LEAN Kaizen; experience with team building, mentoring, and growing employees; generating intellectual property patents; and speaking and presenting to company leadership and customers. This position will have 3 direct reports and other engineers in rotation through the rotational leadership program. These positions include engineers, senior engineers, lead engineers, and principal engineers.br br Travel required up to 25 of the time. Remote work within the U.S. permitted.
