Analyzing and drawing conclusions from large data sets using tools including Python, Tableau, Matlab, Microstrategy, and VBA.br br Experience may be obtained concurrently.br br This is a key position with TK Services Inc., responsible for research and scientific modeling of inflator moisture transfer characteristics to support service life evaluation effort, including research, analysis and evaluation of specific inflator input characteristics such as inflator ingress coefficients and propellant diffusion coefficients, vehicle transfer functions, and external environmental conditions; creating coding to collect and visualize large data sets using Python, Matlab, VBA, Tableau and Microstrategy; creating andor modifying existing coding to automate and report propellant burn rate evaluations; coding in SQL, C programs to generate reports based on historical manufacturing data; and data mining of field return inflators and create DOEs to support mining. Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, as well as experience with, applicable concepts and engineering issues, and research and development experience and scientific capabilities a PhD Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or foreign equivalent education, and 2 years experience working in the automotive safety restraint industry, is required, as the position involves modeling, simulation, and research of safety restraint system including processing input parameters, coding, calibration, reporting; programming in SQL, C to retrieve historical information on databases; developing andor maintaining of algorithms to calculate and report burn rate testing; creatingdesigning DOEs that supportcalibrate moisture transfer modeling efforts; and analyzing and drawing conclusions from large data sets using tools including Python, Tableau, Matlab, Microstrategy, and VBA.
