Specific Skills
At a minimum, the qualified candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related computer or engineering field AND seven 7 years experience in designing, implementing, administering and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases; and ETL development using SSIS or Informatica. A Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related computer or engineering field AND two 2 years experience in designing, implementing, administering and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases; and ETL development using SSIS or Informatica may be substituted for the preceding requirements. Additionally, will have skills in the following technologies gained through at least two 2 years work experience or through a university level course of study in which the technologyskill were taught database design, security, backup, recovery, tuning and troubleshooting; and security concepts including authentication, authorization, Active Directory, Kerberos and SQL server auditing and logging.
