Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, as well as experience with, applicable concepts and issues, a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or foreign equivalent education, and 5 years post baccalaureate progressive experience working in the automotive industry, is required, as the position involves developing and recommending heavily automated assembly equipment and improvement purchase proposals for transmission components; and conducting problem solving initiatives through corrective action, using 8D, Pokeyoke, and Lean Methodologies.
