This position requires a Masters degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field plus three 3 years related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus five 5 years related progressive postbaccalaureate experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 writing new test automation framework in Ruby and integrating it with software build and deploy process using Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, AWS Code Pipeline and AWS cloudformation; 2 writing automated web application load testing scripts using HP Loadrunner and incorporate them into Github version control; 3 developing testing plans including manual functional UI testing, automated functional testing, automated performance testing, automated API testing, automated unit testing and automated integration testing; 4 conducting iterative tests and tuning Apache Tomcat and application server threads, garbage collection threads, and database connection threads to improve performance and reliability of website under load conditions; and 5 utilizing the following tools and technologies Ruby on Rails, Python, Javascript, Unix, Splunk, Tableau, Elasticsearch, AWS Cloudwatch, Jenkins, Github, JIRA, Postman and HP Loadrunner. Employer will accept experience gained before, during or after Masters program.
