Requirements PhD degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field plus 2 years experience in job offered or 2 years experience in related occupation in the following cellular and molecular detection and diagnostics; DNA nanotechnology including design DNA nanostructures and related functional study; biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology, thermodynamics; sequencing and next generation sequencing; development of methods to create functional protein complexes; advanced protein isolation techniques, protein and DNA modification; RNADNA extractions, DNA synthesis, aptamer SELEX, PCR, qPCR, multiple gel electrophoresis techniques, HPLC, flow cytometry, cell culture, bacterial culture, protein assay, confocal and fluorescent microscopy, Atomic Force Microscope, Electron Microscopy, Cryogenic Electron Microscopy, Mass Spectrometry, Fluorescence Spectroscopy, and immunology; equipment calibration and maintenance; scientific process, including hypothesis development, experimental design, and selection of controls; and capturing and recording complex scientific data accurately and reliably; and data collection, analysis and presenting skills, written and verbal data presentation skills; completing project report for internal communications as well as patents and completing scientific papers for peer reviewed journals, publishing abstracts, manuscripts, or industry requirements; independently solve and escalate problems appropriately and in timely manner; Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, related to cellular and molecular detection and diagnostics; software for sequencing data analysis, oligo and protein structure and feather analysis, as well as other medical and biological purposes. The nature of the position requires providing advanced capabilities in solving complex business problems and creating solutions for the companys core areas. Understanding the process and problemsolving techniques for business processes as well as using the latest technology are key to the offered position. The subject position is not a runofthe mill position. Rather, this position requires multifaceted and complex job duties that involve coordinating projects, taking responsibility for projects, and communicating with senior management and other departments both formally and informally to ensure that their needs and requirements are met.
