REQUIRESbr br 1 Masters degree in computational science, bioinformatics, genetics, or a related field or the foreign degree equivalent; and,br br 2 Three 3 years of professional informatics experience in a clinical research environment including three 3 years of each of the followingbr br Computational and statistical support for clinical research;br Analysis and interpretation of NGS datatypes including RNAseq, miRNAseq, and whole exome sequence;br Use of GATK bestpractices workflows for variant calling in exome sequence data;br Consultation with researchers on robust experimental design;br Filtering and prioritizing of variants, SNVs, CNVs and gene fusion events;br Bulk RNAseq analysis including alignment, feature quantification, QC and differential expression;br MicroRNAseq analysis;br Relevant experience with shell scripting and proficiency with Python and R;br Experience with commonly used R packages Bioconductor, ggplot, tidyverse.br br Experience can be gained concurrently.
