4 years of experience in a product development position in the automotive under hood thermoplastic component industry. 2 years of experience with each of the following developing thermoplastic engine components with FEA and CFD for plastics; developing airfuel systems for automotive engines which replace metal assemblies with integrated plastic parts and reduce cost, weight, and noise levels; developing computer simulations for automotive engine airfuel systems, including internal pressurization resistance, vibrationrelated durability, shock resistance, and thermal air and water flow analysis; leading research and development into potential new plastic automotive air intake manifold products utilized in lowvolume production applications; leading research and development into potential new battery pack technologies for hybrid and electric vehicles utilizing plastics to reduce size and weight. Experience can be acquired concurrently.br br This is a key engineering management position with Managed Programs, LLC, responsible for closely oversee professional engineering staff and project teams developing advanced vibration welded intake manifolds, integrated airfuel systems, and cylinder head covers for both automotive and marine applications, including new emerging plastic technologies requiring injection molding and vibration welding processes. Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, and experience with applicable concepts and issues, a Master Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Aerospace Engineering, or foreign equivalent, as well as 4 years of experience in a product development position in the automotive under hood thermoplastic component industry, is required.
