cont. from H.11 initiate public meetings to provide recommendations when code or zoning revisions from government agencies, planning and code officials, clients and other stakeholder groups are necessary; assist in preparing project code report; assist Project Manager to obtain project approvals and address recommendations from authorities having jurisdiction; review all related shop drawings, samples and mock ups, and evaluate general contractor bids and project budgets; assist and coordinate with contractors, respond to requests for information RFIs, and perform necessary modifications of drawings and specifications as construction projects progress and changes in dimensions, materials, and other aspects of design arise; conduct site visits, prepare field observation reports, project closeout, including punch lists, and record drawings; conduct postoccupancy evaluation and review of clients use of space; represent the firm in national and domestic conventions of building design, technology and materials; assist the Project Manager in establishing task schedule and manpower requirements consistent with the project agreement; ,onitor work progress to ensure the project team is compliant with all project milestones.br br Requires LEED AP, NCARB Certified and 3 years of experience to include conducting site reconnaissance using sketches, photographs, notes, traffic analysis, as built drawings site survey and other input material; producing space organization diagrams indicating functional relationships and adjacencies within and among the departments of the projects; preparing image board client presentations with sketches, concept diagrams, photorealistic renderings, using AutoCAD, Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator; preparing physical models using digital fabrication software, 3D printer, and laser cutter; preparing 3D digital models for presentation to the clients using building information modeling BIM software Revit and Sketchup; participating in the architectural drawings and specifications production from schematic design to construction documents; assisting with the technical development of the overall detailed design of projects and closely working with Design Partners and Project Managers to ensure both design and technical objectives are met; communicating design intent and organizing the design documentation from the project team including civil, landscape, structural, mechanical, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire protection, acousticvideo, low voltagetelecommunications, traffic, parking, signage, acoustic, security, curtain wall, faade maintenance, vertical transportation, geotechnical consultants; assisting with BIM execution plan to establish production standards among the design team and manage the cloudbased BIM and design document sharing platform with all participating consultants, sub consultants and contractors; conducting large format electronic project data transmissions using Newforma, Deltek or other approved software; assisting in LEED documentation and 3D energy models to evaluate daily sun exposure, heat loads, and maximize energy savings using Rhino and Grasshopper; assisting with interior design using concept diagrams, floor plans and photorealistic renderings and review with clients, local architects, interior designers, vendors for furniture and equipment planning and selection; researching code compliance under applicable federal, state or local codes and regulations; reviewing all related shop drawings, samples, and mock ups; assisting and coordinating with contractors, responding to requests for information RFIs, and performing necessary modifications of drawings and specifications as construction projects progress and changes in dimensions, materials, and other aspects of design arise; conducting site visits, preparing field observation reports, project closeout, including punch lists, and record drawings.
