Specific Skills

The Senior Engineering Manager will be based out of the companys Phoenix field office located at 3050 West Agua Fria Freeway, Suite 130, Phoenix, Arizona 85027. However, because the company has numerous customers nationwide, some travel is required, as the incumbent will occasionally and on a shortterm basis be deployed to various customer sites. Candidates must therefore be willing to travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States on an ongoing basis.br br Candidates must possess, at minimum, a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electric Power Systems Engineering, or a related engineering field, as well as 42 months of fulltime, professional, postBaccalaureate work experience as a Protection Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or related occupation. Of the 42 months of required work experience, at least 36 months must have been spent undertaking all three of the following tasks 1 creating, designing, configuring, validating, installing, commissioning, and operating electric power protection systems, protection applications, and associated protocols; 2 operating, working with, and testing protective relays; and 3 engaging in fault analysis of electric power systems, identifying fault conditions and preparing fault current calculations. All of the relevant required experience may have been gained concurrently. Candidates must also be willing to comply with the companys DrugFree and TobaccoFree policies.
