Specific Skills

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science or the foreign academic equivalent. 5 years of progressive experience as FPGA developer, embedded systems designer, embedded software developer, or applications engineer for FPGA vendor, partner, or user. Five years experience in each of the following required Understanding of embedded systems, specifically the tradeoff between FPGAs, SoCs, GPUs, CPUs, ASICs, and other computer components; Understanding of the hardware and software development process; Customer facing engineering role; Expertise with one or more vertical applications space automotive, networking, medical, etc.; Technical sales process; System level design and FAE experience; Strong background in one or more of the following markets Wireless, Embedded Vision, Data Center or Industrial; Knowledge and understanding of VHDL andor Verilog, Tcl, CC, Python; FPGA andor ASIC design; and, knowledge of PCIe, Ethernet, or other highspeed serial IO protocols.
