Specific Skills

This position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering, or related field plus three 3 years of related lead project engineering experience. In the alternative, will accept five 5 years of related lead project engineering experience. Experience must include three 3 years of experience, which may be concurrent, with all of the following 1 Providing guidance and support to the project teams design work for projects in wheat, corn, durum, rice and oats milling and other food processing equipment like baking and ready mixes, including the creation of schematics, plant design outlines, detailed plant design drawings, and material lists. 2 Establishing and configuring project schedules and communicate that effectively with all stakeholders to ensure completion of projects on time and in totality. Schedule milestones and delivery deadlines. Monitor dates to ensure adequate production workshop planning. 3 Monitoring the project budget throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects, including ongoing budget forecasts and continuous cost analysis of projects; leading efforts to improve the gross results. When appropriate, escalating complex budgetary questions and issues to leadership for resolution or guidance. Ensuring proper project deviation management; mitigating risks with remedial measures, monitoring engineering hours, tracking project progress and comparing with baseline to realize cost overruns. 4 Contributing to customer and vendor relationships, including interactions with customers on engineering design; providing answers and solutions to customers questions and problems; and supporting vendor interaction to understand the parts and services supplied. 5 Utilizing the following technologies and tools AutoCAD, Bentley 3D software, SAP, CAQ Quality Management System software, Navisworks, Microsoft Office. All experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education or experience. Domestic and international travel required 15 of the time.
